The Pakistani gorgeous VJ cum actress Mawra Hocane has failed to shake the cinemas with her Bollywood debut in terms of the box office buzz; however she has left a strong impression with her superb acting.
Hocane was also not that lucky to get a chance to star alongside some big-wigs of Bollywood, she commenced her B-town career with Harshvardhan Rane, who himself is a rising star hailing from the Telugu film industry. Despite all this, younger sister of Urwa Hocane have proved her abilities on the board.
Both the sisters Urwa Hocane and Mawra Hocane are quite popular in India and Pakistan, and with Urwa’s visit to India it seemed that she’ll be marking her debut in Bollywood as she was offered film Azharuddin alongside Emraan Hashmi but she quickly turned down such offers and asked for some meaty roles in the industry.
Although, the younger Hocane opted her career with a meaty role in a film which doesn’t have much to showcase, means that it was not having that star studded cast, beside all this the film was able to create hype because of Mawra Hocane and the romantic tracks in it.
According to the sources, Sanam Teri Kasam was able to mint 1.25 cr in India, which means film was unable to entice moviegoers.
