ISLAMABAD: Pakistan plans to push Iranian authorities to provide details regarding activities of Indian intelligence agency on its soil after Kulbushan Yadav, a RAW agent arrested from Balochistan, revealed that he was operating in Iranian port city of Chabahar before entering Pakistan.
Law expert Ahmer Bilal Sufi said on Sunday Iran is bound by international law to provide the details about the RAW agent. “Iran should clarify it didn’t let its soil be used deliberately,” he told Geo News.
During the interrogation Kulbushan Yadavk revealed that Rakesh alias Rizwan was still operating as second-in-command of the Indian spy service in the Chahbahar.
Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan in his meeting with his Iranian counterpart Abdul Reza Rahmani Fazli reportedly sought improvement in border security and the monitoring system.
Pakistan investigators are said to have retrieved mobile phone data of Yadav which suggests that Indian agencies have long been training separatist elements of Balochistan. Sources said Yadav sent the separatist elements to India for training.
