KARACHI: The Rangers on Monday obtained 90-day custody of a suspect involved in murder of seven people. According to a spokesman for the paramilitary force, the suspect identified as Eijaz was arrested during a raid that Rangers conducted on a tip off in Rinchor Line area of the city.
He was presented before an Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) where judge handed him over to Rangers in 90-day custody.
He said the suspect is associated with a notorious militant wing of a political party and has admitted to involvement in extortion. The spokesman didn’t give name of the political party.
