KARACHI: An application was filed in the Supreme Court’s Karachi registry on Tuesday against removal of name of super model Ayan Ali, who is facing charges of money laundering, from the Exit Control List (ECL).
A division bench of the Sindh High Court (SHC) allowed the model to travel abroad and ordered removal of her name from the ECL on March 8.
The Pakistan Customs has also challenged the SHC order.

The super model was arrested by Custom Authorities at the Islamabad’s Benazir International Airport for smuggling half a million dollars in cash last year. Under Pakistan’s law, no one can carry more than 10,000 dollar on a flight. After spending four months in Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail, she was released on bail.
