FAISALABAD: At least 19 passengers including women and children died and 13 others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and trailer truck.
The ill-fated passenger bus, going from Lahore to Layyah, collided with a trailer, loaded with iron bars, at Jhang road near Thekri Wala. As a result, 19 people died and over 13 injured.
The dead and injured were shifted to Allied Hospital where condition of several is said to be critical. The driver of the passenger bus managed to flee.
