KARACHI: The newly-launched Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP), led by former leader of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement and Karachi’s former city nazim, is set to put on its first show of political strength at the Bagh-e-Jinnah on Sunday as all arrangements have now been completed for the public rally at 5.00 pm.
PSP leaders Anees Qaimkhani and Iftikhar Alam reached the venue and finalised the arrangements of the public gathering.
Qaimkhani while talking with media on the occasion expressed hope that it would be a unique mass gathering of hundreds of thousands of people in the history of the country which would set the direction of the national politics.
For this, a big stage of 90 feet wide and 30 feet high has been erected while 100,000 chairs have been laid for the people.
Fifteen walk-through gates have also been made while 1,400 police officials and workers will provide security to the rally.Rangers officers and jawans will also be  present art the venue.
The PSP leaders said that it would be for the first time in the history of Pakistan that only the national flag would be seen in a public rally.
