ISLAMABAD: The government and opposition remained unsuccessful in removing the deadlock to form the terms of reference for the judicial commission that would probe the disclosures of the Panama Papers.
Opposition parties also promised to take the masses into confidence regarding the ongoing crisis on Monday.
PPP's Aitzaz Ahsan said that the Prime Minister was not against accountability however, some 'courtiers' weren't letting him present himself for accountability.
Leader of the Opposition Syed Khursheed Shah said that enough was enough, the public would be taken into confidence on Monday via a press conference that would be held outside Aitzaz Ahsan's house.
Participants of the meeting between opposition members were of the view that the Prime Minister was not against accountability however, those close to him were.
During the meeting, Khursheed Shah stated that if the opposition had to take all decisions together, then how can PTI chairman Imran Khan announce the plan to hold long marches and sit-in protests in August?
Shah Mahmood Qureshi provided the assurance that instead of a solo flight, opposition parties would be taken into confidence before announcing any protests.
