Salman Khan’s Sultan continues to be super strong at the Box Office. If Day 1 (36.54 crore) was fantastic, Day 2 has been phenomenal too, what with the film bringing in37.20 crores more. Yes, it was Eid yesterday but then it was only a partial holiday since in different parts of the country, workplaces, schools and offices have distributed holidays across Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
This translates into the fact that the Yash Raj film hasn’t quite benefitted from a national holiday that would have resulted in greater records on each of these days. That said, to actually have collections in the excess of 30 crore on two consecutive days and that too before the real weekend (Saturday, Sunday) arrives is a great trend indeed.
The film has now collected 73.74 crores already, which means lifetime total of quite a few releases in 2016 have already been quashed.
