LAHORE: Indian actress Sharmila Tagore Sunday decided to extend her stay in Pakistan for one more day after police stopped her at Wagah border for incomplete travel documents.
However, the missing police report was provided through fax but Sharmila later changed her programme and decided to extend her stay in Lahore for one more day.
The popular heroine of Indian films of her times and the daughter-in-law of the Pataudi family, Sharmila Tagore had came to Pakistan on a four-day visit to Lahore.
She participated in the Lahore Literary Festival (LLF) and later called on the Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif at his residence in Raiwind. She also met with her relatives in Lahore.
She appeared delighted to witness Lahore and enjoyed her visit to one of the historic cities of Pakistan.
