ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has announced Rs10 million financial assistance for the heirs of prominent Qawwal Amjad Sabri, who was shot dead by unidentified armed men on Wednesday.
The federal government will also bear educational expenses of the children of slain Amjad Sabri.
Gunmen shot dead Amjad Sabri in the Liaquatabad area on Wednesday afternoon.
The gruesome murder of 40-year-old Sabri occurred two days after the abduction of Owais Ali Shah, the son of Sindh High Court (SHC) Chief Justice Sajjad Ali Shah, by masked men in Clifton.
